Job Description
BGE HOME is the premier Home Comfort and Service Company servicing the Maryland area.

Job Summary:
Professional selling of HVAC Preventive Maintenance Programs, service contracts and equipment, plumbing, electrical, commodity, and energy related products and services to light commercial and property management customers. Establish relationships with existing and potential customers with a” value added” approach to satisfy each customer’s wants and needs. Self motivates to achieve established goals in light commercial products and service sales. Responsible for achieving sales and lead goals. Responsible for sales and lead development, canvassing, sales and lead management process.

Reports To: - Manager – Commercial Energy Sales

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (*essential job functions)
1. Performs sales and sales administration duties as required.
2. Achieving sales and profit budgets.
3. Ensures customer service exceeds consumer expectations.
4. Provides individual work measurement statistics.
5. Resolves customer inquiries in relation to light commercial products and service sales.
6. Keeps current on market conditions, trends and innovations; suggests ways to improve approach to meet changing market.
7. Meets regularly with Manager, keeping them informed of market conditions, performance, issues and actions.
8. Non-selling related duties include, but not limited to, training other sales representatives, resolving customer issues, responding to related inquiries, submitting reports as requested, participating in marketing / trade shows, attending sales and company meetings.

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge:
Knowledge of company’s products and services, pricing practices, and selling skills.
Skills/Abilities:
Effective account management and professional selling skills.
Ability to use corporate software, MS Outlook, Word, CRM, Great Plains, Excel, etc.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
