UGI Utilities cuts natural gas rate

UGI Utilities’ gas division, which supplies natural gas to customers in several Upper Bucks County municipalities, will reduce its natural gas rates by 16 percent starting Dec. 1.
According to the company, the average residential heating customer’s bill will decrease from $151.47 to $127.59 a month once the change goes into effect.

Avista to lower gas prices

Gas utility Avista Corp. on Monday said it has refiled a rate request with the Oregon Public Utilities Commission that could decrease its customers’ bills by more than 4 percent.
